Allyson is an accounting assistant at Ko-Advisors, where she manages financial tasks such as bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and financial reporting. Allyson brings a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to ensuring that financial operations run smoothly at Ko-Advisors.
Allyson’s journey into accounting was driven by her passion for working with numbers and solving financial challenges. Her previous roles include tax prep intern at Ko-Advisors, bank teller at a local bank, and manager at an ice cream shop. These experiences have honed her skills in financial management and customer service. In her role at Ko-Advisors, Allyson is dedicated to contributing to clients’ success by maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. She finds it rewarding to use her accounting skills to address clients’ challenges and help optimize their financial processes.
A graduate of Cleveland State University with a major in accounting and finance, Allyson has earned several certifications, including Word Expert 2019, Excel Expert 2019, and Office Specialist Expert. She was also recognized on her university’s dean’s list and served as the treasurer for the tennis club at CSU.
Originally from Parma, Ohio, Allyson now resides in Cleveland. She is still involved in CSU’s tennis club by handling the club’s bookkeeping, budgets, and financial reports. Outside of work, Allyson enjoys playing tennis, of course, as well as cooking and baking.
